In early 2019, Renokrew worked alongside RZ Interiors on the interior renovation/restoration of Our Lady of The Rosary Parish. Our Lady of The Rosary Parish is situated in the heart of Scarborough, Ontario. The restoration work included design by RZ Interiors, and all aspects of the project executed by Renokrew, including but not limited to the Architectural Woodwork, heavy gauge steel framing, electrical, specialty painting and wall treatments, stained glass thermal units, pew refurbishments, and architectural stonework. The project involved transformation and enhancements of the existing Altar and the 14-meter central wall to the building facade.
One of the major challenges was working in an occupied environment, as well as the space constraints and mobilization to a 14-meter plus altitude. Not only was the phasing and scheduling critical, it was also very important to maintain rapport with the parish community, since the project required strict containment to keep the day to day operations of the facility uninterrupted.
The project was a great success. Through the efficient and sequenced work maintained with trade contractors and the project team, the project was completed on time and on budget. Renokrew met all deadlines through proper planning and execution, and the team worked with trades to meet and exceed schedule expectations. The Parish community is excited about the newly finished space and were positive throughout all aspects of construction.
